A: Students who are between 13 - 17 years old who have completed at least Spanish I for high school credit.
Q: May a student attend the cursillo without teacher companion?
A: Yes, students who are 15-17 years old and meet the language requirement may attend without a teacher.
Q: What level of Spanish is needed?
A: Students must have completed at least Spanish I for high school credit.
Q: Are scholarships available?
A: At the moment, scholarships are not available.
Q: What is the room accommodations?
A: Students will stay in a double or triple room according to availability.
Q: How are rooms assigned?
A: Students traveling with their teacher will be rooming together whenever possible. In case of odd number of students, a roommate may be assigned. Roommates will be paired using a rooming questionnaire.
Q: Is there airport transport available in Madrid?
A: Yes, round trip airport transportation will be provided for arrival on the morning of the cursillo orientation for students traveling with or without a teacher companion. They will be met at Barajas Airport, Madrid, upon arrival by a UCE staff member. Likewise, for departure the day after the cursillo ends, said students will be escorted back to Barajas by a UCE staff member. Anyone who extends their trip either before or after the cursillo dates is responsible for their own airport transportation.
